Booster Club

The Bellevue High School Baseball Boosters Club is an action-oriented group of parents, volunteers and administrators working together to support the Bellevue High School Wolverine Baseball program. The Booster Club exists for the purpose of broadening the involvement of students, student families and the school through funding and supporting many aspects and needs of the baseball program.

We are a 501 (c) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a healthy, competitive baseball experience for boys where they can learn and play high school baseball. Our coaching staff works hard to give our players a positive learning experience. As a non-profit organization, we have to provide for most of our expenses by ourselves and with your gracious help. School budgets do not cover all the needs of high school athletics, and are being reduced every year. Your donation will help our team to buy equipment, uniforms, pay for games, tournaments, and travel expenses. Your monetary donations are tax deductible.

In order to achieve this primary function, the Booster Club needs the support of parents and friends of Bellevue High School. This comes in the form of joining the Booster Club and getting personally involved in the activities sponsored by the Club.

2010 Goals for the BHS Baseball Booster Club:

  • To support, promote and maintain a high standard of integrity and good sportsmanship in all baseball related activities of the high school.
  • To directly support the coaches with fundraising efforts, organizing volunteers and other activities to benefit the baseball athletes.
  • To promote and encourage more young men to get involved in the high school baseball experience, either as an active participant or as a volunteer assistant.
  • Coordinate Spirit Wear for athletes and fans (T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Gloves, Head Bands, Socks, etc. either as player gift or fundraiser)
  • Provide athletic equipment, and accessories (as needed to augment the needs of each team when not supplied by the school)
  • Provide post-season t-shirts for teams that make post-season play
  • Provide coaches and/or trainers for pre-seasoning conditioning as needed
  • Maintain our own baseball website in order to keep players and boosters updated
  • Provide annual Baseball Program
  • Cover the costs for team tournaments
  • Make available professional baseball training during winter, regular season and playoffs as needed
  • Provide coaches game wear, shirts, warm ups and jackets
  • Coach’s Achievement/Appreciation Awards
  • Give-Aways of Prizes and Food at Games to Build Community and School Spirit
  • Fund the kickoff and post-season parties
  • Coordinate announcers and scorekeepers
